HARIANEXPRESS – The automotive industry conducted road safety education for students in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, as part of National Children’s Day 2026. This initiative aimed to foster a culture of safe road behavior from an early age.
PT Daya Adicipta Wisesa (DAW) demonstrated its commitment by organizing the educational activity at SD Negeri 44 Manado.
The program sought to heighten children’s awareness regarding the importance of safety on the road, whether as motorcycle passengers or pedestrians.
“In commemorating National Children’s Day, we are committed to building a culture of traffic safety from an early age through road safety education activities held at SD Negeri 44 Manado,” said Head of Promotion Department PT Daya Adicipta Wisesa (DAW), Bonny Pandelaki.
Bonny Pandelaki noted that with increasing gadget use among children, this education also urged students to remain vigilant about their surroundings on the road to avoid accident risks.
He emphasized that traffic safety education needs to be instilled from elementary school age to become a lifelong habit.
“National Children’s Day is the right moment to instill safety values in the younger generation. We hope that through this education, children can understand the importance of traffic discipline, always using standard helmets, and reminding parents and family to #Cari_Aman every time they ride,” Bonny Pandelaki stated.
Andhika Reynold Salindeho, Safety Riding Instructor for PT Daya Adicipta Wisesa, highlighted the crucial role children play as safety pioneers within their families.
The material delivered was simplified and interactive to ensure easy comprehension by the children.
“We teach the importance of wearing helmets correctly, crossing at safe places, recognizing basic traffic signs, and not using cell phones when crossing or in traffic areas. These small habits can be a provision to protect themselves and others,” Andhika explained.
Beyond material presentation, the event also featured educational games, prize quizzes, and simple simulations of safe road behavior.
The enthusiasm of the participants indicated that safety education can be delivered in an enjoyable and easily understandable manner.
Through the “Sinergi Bagi Negeri” campaign, PT Daya Adicipta Wisesa remains dedicated to providing various Safety Riding education programs.
This effort is part of realizing a safe, orderly, and responsible riding culture in North Sulawesi.
PT Daya Adicipta Wisesa hopes the activities at SD Negeri 44 Manado will benefit students and encourage all community elements to collectively build a #Cari_Aman culture to protect the nation’s next generation.
