HARIANEXPRESS – Garum Sector Police conducted a socialization program on anti-bullying, wise social media use, and traffic rules for students at UPT SDN Bence 02 on Sunday, (30/8/2026).
The event, held at UPT SDN Bence 02 in Garum District, Blitar Regency, aimed to provide enhanced education and guidance to young generations. Kapolsek Garum AKP Agus Prayitno, S.H., along with three members of Polsek Garum, delivered the understanding and education directly to the students.
The material presented included the dangers and impacts of bullying within the school environment, urging students to avoid physical or verbal bullying. Students were also educated on the importance of mutual respect, valuing differences, and building positive friendships. Furthermore, Polsek Garum personnel provided lessons on using social media wisely, advising students not to spread unverified information, avoid negative content, maintain communication ethics, and utilize social media for positive and beneficial activities.
Regarding traffic regulations, students learned about the importance of obeying traffic laws, recognizing road signs, using safety equipment, and always prioritizing safety on the road. Kapolsek Garum AKP Agus Prayitno stated that this activity is part of the National Police’s efforts to educate students from an early age.
“Through this activity, we hope that students can become a generation that respects each other, is wise in using social media and disciplined in traffic,” said AKP Agus Prayitno, Garum Sector Police Chief. He emphasized that the goal is for students to develop awareness for maintaining security, order, and safety, both within the school environment and in the wider community.
