HARIANEXPRESS – The administrators of RW 09 Grogol Selatan, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, convened a routine meeting and arisan on Monday, July 13, 2026, to address pressing regional issues.
Key discussions focused on waste management, preventing illegal drug distribution, and enforcing a curfew for minors in the area.
The event took place at the residence of Bang Agung, Secretary of RT 11/09, located on Jalan Rawa Simprug IX. Attendees included RW 09 administrators, RT 01 to RT 12 administrators, PKK RW 09 administrators, and Karang Taruna RW 09 members.
The meeting commenced with an opening by Bp. Eri Kurniawan, who led the recitation of Ummul Qur’an Surat Al-Fatihah.
In his address, Chairman of RW 09 Grogol Selatan, Bp. Pariyo, underscored the vital role of all community members in maintaining environmental cleanliness and order. He emphasized the collective responsibility for household waste sorting and vigilance against dangerous drugs, including narcotics and tramadol.
Additionally, Bp. Pariyo specifically urged parents to more strictly monitor their children under 18 years old.
“Kami mengimbau seluruh warga agar dapat mengontrol anak-anaknya yang masih di bawah usia 18 tahun untuk tidak beraktivitas di luar rumah di atas jam 10 malam. Ini langkah preventif demi menjaga keselamatan dan ketenteraman lingkungan kita bersama,” ujar Bp. Pariyo.
Following this, Ibu Mas’amah, a member of the Lembaga Musyawarah Kelurahan (LMK) RW 09, provided an in-depth explanation of technical methods for sorting organic, inorganic, and residue waste. This presentation also served as preparation for residents regarding the implementation of the Governor’s Regulation on waste management, set to begin on August 1, 2026.
Amidst the cross-sectoral discussions, Bp. Fauzan, Chairman of RT 12/09, appealed to members of the Koperasi Kelurahan Merah Putih to regularly pay their monthly dues of Rp10,000. This measure is crucial for ensuring the continued sustainability of the community’s joint business venture.
The event concluded with a prayer led by Bp. Fauzan, followed by a fellowship session to strengthen ties among RT and RW administrators within the Grogol Selatan neighborhood.
