He emphasized that participation from various regions and countries reflects a strong national spirit and a desire to witness the state procession directly at Merdeka Palace.
“Alhamdulillah, antusiasme masyarakat luar biasa. Pada hari pertama kemarin tercatat 128.331 masyarakat mengikuti war ticket, yang tersebar di 36 provinsi, bahkan ada peserta dari mancanegara, di antaranya Amerika Serikat, Australia, Rusia, Jerman, Britania Raya, Turki, Prancis, Arab Saudi, Belanda, Jepang, Korea Selatan, Hong Kong, Singapura, dan Malaysia,” said Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi.

Limited Capacity and Future Opportunities
Despite the immense interest, the government acknowledged that the available invitation capacity could not accommodate all applicants. The Palace conveyed its apologies to those who were unsuccessful in securing an invitation on the first day.
However, interested individuals still have another chance to register. The government reopened the invitation ‘war ticket’ registration on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:00 WIB.
Prospective attendees are urged to continuously monitor official government information channels for updates. Applicants are also advised to carefully adhere to all registration terms and stages to ensure a smooth and orderly process.
This significant public interest demonstrates that the 81st Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony continues to be a widely appealing event. It captivates not only Indonesian citizens but also individuals in various parts of the world.
