HARIANEXPRESS – Twenty-five prospective members of the Blitar Regency Paskibraka (Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka) are currently undergoing intensive Centralized Education and Training (Pusdiklat) that commenced on July 28, 2026, in preparation for the 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony.
These young individuals are undergoing a rigorous 17-day program designed to fortify their technical proficiencies, leadership acumen, and unwavering discipline. The comprehensive training is crucial for shaping their character as they prepare for the significant responsibilities of the upcoming 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony.
Arisanti, Head of Ideology, National Insight, and National Character Division at Bakesbangpol Kabupaten Blitar, confirmed the participation of 25 students in this year’s Pusdiklat. This figure aligns with the 2026 budget efficiency policy, while the “Pasukan 45” contingent will be drawn from the Paskibraka members of 2025.
“Pusdiklat meliputi tiga aspek, yakni pendidikan, pelatihan, dan pengasuhan. Pada tahap awal peserta menjalani pelatihan baris-berbaris serta pendidikan mental kepemimpinan,” ujar Arisanti.
The curriculum extends beyond practical skills, deeply embedding the preservation of Pancasila values as the core state ideology. It also focuses on reinforcing character development based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, alongside fundamental leadership principles.
Further topics include patriotism, nationalism, and a profound love for the homeland, all complemented by rigorous discipline. Participants also engage in activities designed to broaden their national insight and master specific Paskibraka techniques.
Experts from various governmental and institutional bodies contribute to the training as narasumber (resource persons). These include representatives from Forkopimda, KPU, Bawaslu, as well as seasoned Paskibraka trainers from the TNI and Polri, alongside internal Bakesbangpol Kabupaten Blitar staff.
Through this comprehensive Pusdiklat, Bakesbangpol expresses its aspiration for the Paskibraka candidates to achieve more than just readiness for flag-raising duties. The agency hopes they will emerge as a generation of young individuals possessing strong character, unwavering integrity, and a powerful sense of nationalism.
