HARIANEXPRESS – The Blitar Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) officially held a plenary session on Friday, August 21, 2026, to discuss proposed changes to the 2026 General Budget Policy and Provisional Budget Ceiling (KUA-PPAS).
The session took place at the Graha Paripurna Building of the Blitar Regency DPRD. This meeting aimed to follow up on a letter from the Blitar Regent regarding the draft KUA-PPAS changes.
These changes will serve as the primary foundation for preparing the Revised Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (P-APBD) for 2026.
The plenary session was led directly by Deputy Chairperson Ratna Dewi Nirwana Sari, S.S., S.H., M.Kn. She was accompanied by fellow Deputy Chairpersons M. Rifai’i and Susi Narulita Kumala Dewi, S.IP., M.AP.
Attendees included all DPRD members, Forkopimda officials, heads of Regional Government Organizations (OPD), and representatives of the Civil Apparatus (ASN) from the Blitar Regency Government. The session was open to the public.
In her opening remarks, Ratna Dewi Nirwana Sari expressed high appreciation to the Regent and the executive ranks. This recognition was for their government administration performance, which consistently focuses on improvements and tangible benefits for the community.
“Kami mengapresiasi langkah Bupati dan seluruh jajaran yang terus berupaya menyempurnakan perencanaan anggaran demi kebaikan dan kemajuan bersama,” ujar Ratna Dewi Nirwana Sari.
Blitar Regent Rijanto confirmed after the session that these changes are necessary. They are intended to align development priorities with the actual needs on the ground.
“Kami berharap DPRD dapat segera melakukan pembahasan dan mencapai kesepakatan, sehingga Perubahan Anggaran (PAK) tahun 2026 dapat segera ditetapkan dan dilaksanakan. Salah satu fokus utamanya adalah pemerataan pembangunan infrastruktur di seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Blitar,” tegas Rijanto (Regent of Blitar).
The modification of KUA-PPAS provides crucial flexibility for the regional government. This allows for budget reallocation and adjustment to more urgent programs.
It also ensures that the benefits of development are felt evenly across all segments of society in Blitar Regency.
