Tubagus Ahmad Jalaluddin Akbar was crowned Putra Budaya Banten 2026 on Sunday (19/07/2026). He will represent Banten at the national Putra Putri Budaya Indonesia competition.

HARIANEXPRESS – Tubagus Ahmad Jalaluddin Akbar was crowned Putra Budaya Banten 2026 during the Grand Final Putra Putri Budaya Banten 2026 held at Tangcity Mall on Sunday (19/7/2026). This prestigious title acknowledges Akbar’s dedication throughout a rigorous seven-month selection process.

His victory now qualifies him to represent Banten at the national level through the Putra Putri Budaya Indonesia competition. The Putra Putri Budaya Banten 2026 event provides a vital platform for young people to engage with, preserve, and promote Banten’s rich cultural heritage.

Participants are actively encouraged to cultivate a strong sense of responsibility towards culture, tourism, and local wisdom. Tubagus Ahmad Jalaluddin Akbar navigated a comprehensive journey leading to his recognition as Putra Budaya Banten 2026.

His diverse experiences in education, organizational involvement, leadership, arts, and various activities served as crucial preparation for the entire selection series. Akbar is an alumnus of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta), holding a Bachelor’s degree in Government Science with an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.77 out of 4.00.

Currently, he is continuing his academic pursuits by undertaking a Master’s degree in Public Administration at Untirta. During his undergraduate studies, Akbar maintained active participation in various organizations.

He notably served as the Supervisory Board of UKM Klasik Untirta for the 2023–2024 period. Additionally, he held positions as Head of Music and Music Coaching Staff within the same organization.

Akbar’s leadership skills were further honed through a variety of student activities. He successfully chaired the Pahajiku Klasik Untirta event in 2021 and coordinated the Security Division for Opera Klasik Untirta in 2022.

Beyond his organizational commitments, Akbar gained practical experience through an internship at the Banten Provincial Environmental and Forestry Agency in 2023. His responsibilities included administrative tasks, document archiving, report management, and attending relevant meetings concerning environmental issues and public services.

Akbar also boasts a commendable record of achievements across different fields. He secured the 1st Honorable Winner title in the Popular Article Writing Competition at Universitas Esa Unggul in 2022.

Furthermore, he was the 1st Winner of the National Student Arts Week (Peksiminas) in the male keroncong category at Untirta in 2020. Other significant accolades include 2nd Place for Best Commander in the West Java Province LKBB competition in 2017 and 1st Place for Best Player 3rd Commander in Banten Province in 2016.

These varied experiences have collectively strengthened his leadership, communication, artistic talents, and self-confidence. Akbar expressed that the Putra Budaya Banten 2026 title signifies a profound trust and responsibility that he is committed to upholding.

“Gelar ini merupakan sebuah amanah dan tanggung jawab untuk saya. Saya ingin terus membawa nama baik Banten serta memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya yang kita miliki kepada masyarakat luas, termasuk di tingkat nasional,” ujar Tubagus Ahmad Jalaluddin Akbar.

Akbar’s advocacy journey is supported by Putra Surosowan Banten Indonesia, an organization dedicated to religious, tourism, and cultural initiatives. His unwavering commitment to cultural preservation is also deeply rooted in his family background.

He is the son of KH Tubagus Ahmad Syadzili Wasi, a respected figure known as part of the Banten Sultanate Elders, Leader of the Al-Quraniyah Kesultanan Banten Islamic Boarding School, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Maulana Hasanuddin Banten Sultanate Kenadziran Agency. Akbar firmly believes that the younger generation has a critical role in ensuring Banten’s culture remains vibrant and recognized amidst contemporary advancements.

“Saya berharap dapat menjalankan amanah ini dengan sebaik-baiknya dan terus berkontribusi dalam mengenalkan budaya Banten. Perjalanan ke tingkat nasional menjadi kesempatan untuk membawa identitas dan kekayaan budaya Banten agar semakin dikenal,” ujar Tubagus Ahmad Jalaluddin Akbar.

With his strong educational foundation, extensive organizational experience, numerous achievements, and a deep-seated passion for culture, Akbar is now poised for the upcoming stages of the Putra Putri Budaya Indonesia competition. The Putra Budaya Banten 2026 title marks the promising start of a new journey, aimed at showcasing Banten’s spirit and rich cultural heritage on a broader national platform.
