HARIANEXPRESS – Blitaria Expo 2026 has officially opened, aiming to enliven the 702nd Anniversary of Blitar Regency. The event, inaugurated by Blitar Regent Rijanto and Vice Regent Beky Herdihansah, commenced on Thursday, August 6, 2026, and will continue until Sunday, August 9, 2026. The exhibition is centered at the east playground area of Alun-Alun Kanigoro, located within the Blitar Regent’s Office Complex.
Blitaria Expo 2026: A Showcase of Regional Potential and Innovation
The Blitaria Expo 2026 serves as a primary platform to display superior local products and innovative services from all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Blitar Regency Government. Various departments and agencies are utilizing this event to showcase their latest breakthroughs, with the main goal of enhancing the quality of public services to the community.
Visitors can explore a diverse range of excellent Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) products from all 22 districts across Blitar Regency. These products vary widely, including agricultural produce, handicrafts, local culinary specialties, processed coffee, and other creative items.
Four Days of Engaging Events
Throughout its four-day run, Blitaria Expo 2026 presents a variety of engaging events for attendees. On the first day, Thursday, August 6, 2026, following the opening ceremony, regional cultural performances such as Tari Bumi Laya Ika Tantra Adi Raja and Tari Zamrud Katulistiwa were featured.
This was followed by a talk show focusing on tourism, culture, and the historical heritage of Blitar Regency. Friday, August 7, 2026, marked the second day with a dedicated talk show discussing innovation in public services, trade, and investment opportunities within Blitar.
From Saturday, August 8, until the closing on Sunday, August 9, 2026, the exhibition booths will remain open. Visitors can also enjoy various entertainment and artistic performances held daily on the main stage.
Regent Rijanto’s Message to the Community
In his address, Blitar Regent Rijanto emphasized that Blitaria Expo 2026 is more than just an ordinary exhibition. He hopes the event will serve as a means and motivation for all OPDs to continuously innovate and provide better, faster, and more easily accessible services to the public.
“Through this exhibition, we want to strengthen the emotional relationship between the local government and the community. Residents can directly learn about what we have accomplished, as well as convey their hopes for the advancement of Blitar Regency,” said Bupati Rijanto.
In addition to showcasing products and services, the exhibition also offers information and education booths regarding tourism, cultural potential, and investment opportunities in the region. All visitors are welcome to enter for free without any charges.
