Governor Khofifah underscored the significance of the National Jamboree XII, noting its timing coincides with Indonesia’s Independence Day commemoration. She believes this offers a unique opportunity to strengthen the participants’ love for their homeland.

“I ask that the spirit of heroism, the spirit of nationalism, and the spirit of unity and integrity be firmly held by all members of the East Java contingent at the upcoming National Jamboree XII,” Khofifah stated.

She also emphasized that safeguarding the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is a shared responsibility for all citizens, regardless of their profession or origin. According to Khofifah, the National Jamboree serves as a crucial platform for fostering brotherhood among participants from various provinces.

“Build brotherhood to build the NKRI, build unity to strengthen the NKRI, and build mutual cooperation to protect the NKRI,” she added.

East Java Presents Largest Contingent and Innovations

Arum Sabil, Chairman of the East Java Regional Kwartir of the Gerakan Pramuka, confirmed that the East Java contingent comprises 1,537 participants. This group includes Penggalang Scouts, Scouts with special needs, contingent leaders, trainers, companions, and other support elements.

“East Java is sending 1,537 participants. God willing, this will be the largest contingent from East Java at the National Jamboree XII,” said Arum Sabil.

In addition to sending a large number of participants, East Java has also prepared an exhibition pavilion. This pavilion will showcase various innovative works developed by young Scout members from across the region.

The exhibition is intended to introduce the creativity and innovation of East Java’s youth to other participants nationwide.

“We are also preparing an exhibition pavilion that displays the innovative results designed by our young East Java Scouts,” Arum explained.
