HARIANEXPRESS – Bawaslu Kota Blitar actively participated in the 65th Scout Day Commemoration Ceremony hosted by the Kwartir Cabang (Kwarcab) Gerakan Pramuka Kota Blitar. The significant event took place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Kwarcab Gerakan Pramuka Kota Blitar headquarters.
Representing Bawaslu Kota Blitar were members Sarwi Ruci and M. Nur Aziz, who joined jajaran Kwartir, Saka, Sako, and other pertinent groups for the annual celebration.
Ceremony Highlights and Theme for Youth Development
Kak Tri Iman Prasetyono, M.Si, presided over the ceremony, conveying the message from the Chairperson of the Kwartir Nasional Gerakan Pramuka. The message underscored the 65 years of the Gerakan Pramuka’s journey, which has been marked by dedication, impactful contributions, strong leadership by example, and a steadfast commitment to molding Indonesia’s youth with strong character, discipline, and national pride.
“65 tahun perjalanan Gerakan Pramuka telah diwarnai dengan pengabdian, karya, keteladanan, dan dedikasi dalam membentuk generasi muda Indonesia yang berkarakter, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, serta memiliki rasa cinta tanah air.”
The 2026 commemoration adopted the theme: “Berkreasi, Berinovasi, Terampil dan Mandiri untuk Mendukung Swasembada Pangan” (Be Creative, Innovative, Skilled, and Independent to Support Food Self-Sufficiency).
Fostering Skills and Independence Among Youth
This theme serves as a strong call to action, encouraging the Gerakan Pramuka to equip young people with essential skills and the capacity to innovate and effectively resolve local issues.
Scout education is thus directed towards cultivating a productive mindset, environmental responsibility, the appropriate use of technology, and a robust entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.
Bawaslu’s Involvement and Appreciation
During the event, Sarwi Ruci and M. Nur Aziz from Bawaslu Kota Blitar played an active role in the ceremony by pinning badges onto members of the Penegak scout group.
This particular segment of the ceremony reinforced the collective spirit and acknowledged the continuous efforts involved in nurturing and advancing scout members.
