HARIANEXPRESS – Wonodadi Sector Police, Blitar Kota Resort Police, conducted community activity patrols on Saturday, August 22, 2026, to ensure public safety during Indonesia’s Independence Day celebrations.
The patrol took place at 09:00 WIB, focusing on the field in front of the Blitar Deputy Regent’s residence in Wonodadi District, Blitar Regency. This preventive measure aimed to ensure all public activities related to the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day commemoration proceeded safely, orderly, and conducive.
During the patrol, Wonodadi Sector Police personnel engaged in direct dialogue with local residents. They also conveyed important public safety and order messages, commonly known as ‘kamtibmas’.
The community was urged to collectively maintain environmental security and heighten vigilance. Additionally, residents were encouraged to uphold order while participating in the various independence celebration events.
Furthermore, officers provided information about the Polri 110 service to the public. This service allows citizens to report incidents or seek police assistance, ensuring prompt response and handling by officers.
The patrol operation concluded safely, orderly, and under control. The presence of the police within the community is expected to instill a sense of security among residents. It also aims to strengthen the synergy between law enforcement and the public in creating a conducive security and public order situation within the legal jurisdiction of Wonodadi Sector Police, Blitar Kota Resort Police.
